Chuck Yolland - Native of Oakland Calif. Grew up with a passion for music. Once he heard
Bob Dylan he fell in love with the sound of the harmonica. Thought the harmonica would be
something he would like to learn to play. Once he started, he learned very quickly that it was
much harder than he thought to play an instrument that most people think of as a toy. Played
some when he was younger, but didn’t start playing again until after he had raised his family,
but always kept his passion for music. Heavily influenced by the Chicago and Delta Blues
players, he took the instrument more serious. Since he has started playing again he could be
heard at some of the local jams.Chuck, formerly ran a jam for three years at Arnie’s Time
Out in Hayward Chuck has played with the Mission Blues Band, Crossroads, Bill Lewis Band,
Cross Eyed and Painless, Sweet and Sticky Band, The Cantrell Brothers Band, and also
played in a Beatles Tribute Band.
